The logo, the palette, the type, and the rules that hold them together. Everything here is free to use when you are writing about Mitosis Labs or building on it.

Read https://mitosislabs.ai/brand.txt and follow it exactly whenever you use the Mitosis Labs logo, colors, or type. Download the logo files it lists instead of redrawing the mark, and never recolor, rotate, or re-typeset anything.
01 / Logo
One mark, three signatures.
The mark carries the brand on its own. The lockups add the name when the context does not. Every file below is vector, with the wordmark already converted to outlines, so nothing depends on having the typeface installed.
02 / Clearspace and size
Give it room, and do not shrink it past legible.

Half the mark height, clear on all four sides. Already baked into every file, so you can place them edge to edge and still be correct.

Below this the crescents close up and read as a solid ring. Use the app icon for anything smaller.

Narrower than this, switch to the stacked lockup or drop to the mark alone.
03 / Misuse
Six ways to get it wrong.
Do not recolor the mark.
It is off white on dark, near black on light. Agent colors belong to agents, never to the mark.
Do not re-typeset the wordmark.
The letterforms in these files are outlines. Setting the name in your own type produces a different logo.
Do not rotate, flip, or stretch.
The rotational symmetry is the whole idea. Scale it uniformly and leave it upright.
Do not add effects.
No shadows, gradients, glows, strokes, or containers around the mark.
Do not crowd it.
Keep clearspace of at least half the mark height on every side. That clearspace is already built into each file.
Do not place it on busy imagery.
Put it on a flat dark or flat light field. If the photo is unavoidable, add a plain panel behind it.
04 / Color
The system is neutral. The agents are alive.
There is no brand accent hue. Surfaces are dark, text is off white, borders are glass. Color enters only through the agents, each of which radiates one tone from a fixed set of eight. Click any swatch to copy it.

The only source of color in the product. Each agent holds one for life.
Text and state
05 / Typography
Light weight. Wide breath.
Inter carries everything, at weights 200 to 400. Featherweight headings, regular body, and letter spacing opened up so the dark canvas feels vast. JetBrains Mono handles anything technical: status lines, counts, identifiers, code. Both are open source under the SIL Open Font License, so you can install and ship them freely.

06 / Naming and voice
Write it the way we say it.
Correct
Mitosis Labs, for the company.
Mitosis, for the product and on second reference.
Both words capitalized, in the lockup and in running text.
Incorrect
MitosisLabs, Mitosis.ai, mitosis labs
ML, MSL, or any initialism
OS-1, which is the old internal name
The voice is short, precise, and calm. The interface is clinical and states what happened. The agents are warm and speak in the first person. The full design language, including motion and component rules, lives on the design system page.
07 / Permission
What you can do with all this.
Use the mark and the lockups to refer to Mitosis Labs: press coverage, integration directories, conference decks, an app that connects to our platform. Keep them unmodified and give them room. Do not use them to suggest that Mitosis Labs endorses, sponsors, or partnered with you, do not fold them into your own logo or product name, and do not register them as your own. The mark is a trademark of Mitosis Labs.
